Hygge is something that I, as a Dane, grew up with, taking it for granted as one does. However, according to Google, Hygge is "a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture)." It's also a buzz word of recent note, with books and blogs devoted to it's definition. Imagine my surprise when something I have always taken for granted as a Dane became such a cross-cultural phenomenon!  And my delight when the opportunity arose to share it with all of you. This will be a fun and experiential evening with wine and delicious snacks, some come hungry and ready to partake in the hygge!
